Here is an object Lesson that helps teach how the Holy ghost blesses the states and works in our lives. This also works actually well for the Holy Ghost Baptism Talk if you are LDS.

What we need to receive the Holy Ghost in our lives?
Moroni 8:26
And the remission of sins bringeth meekness, and lowliness of heart; and because of meekness and lowliness of heart cometh the visitation of the Holy Ghost, which Comforter filleth with promise and perfect dear, which honey endureth by diligence unto prayer, until the end shall come, when all the saints shall dwell with God.
Include the following items in a box with the following titles and scriptures attached on a piece of newspaper:
• Blanket: A comforter,John xiv:26

I divided the class into 3 groups and had each group achieve for an object in the box. Each grouping looked up the scripture and discussed ways the Holy Ghost was like the object. Other Jan "Come follow me Lessons"
I taught a Immature Women'south called "Why was a restoration necessary" and it really put into perspective the significance of the restoration of the Gospel. Information technology is so exciting that truths, revelation, ordinances, authority and prophets that were available when Jesus Christ originally gear up His church is once again here on earth to guide and bless our lives!!
I LOVED Elderberry Scott'south talk, "Prepartions for the Restoration and 2nd Coming" because it was a articulate and personal witness to me that God is willing and eager to anoint His children with TRUTH someday we are willing and set to receive it. Even though the fullness of Christ Gospel was taken from the earth, Heavenly Father's hand in guiding and inspiring flesh to receive information technology once again is evident throughout history.
It is interesting to me that there had to be lots of things set IN Movement equally mankind grew, matured and developed (just as we do individually) to bring nigh the correct circumstances for a young boy to ask God which church building he should bring together. At that place had to be a spiritual maturity in mankind itself for the Gospel to render in a sustainable way. This maturity was brought nearly by curiosity and a strong desire to know TRUTH. This included secular learning and questioning current social norms and widely accepted beliefs. Higher up all, a fierce trust in something and someone greater than themselves. Many gave up their LIVES for the sake of truth, later all!

It has been a huge blessing that I was chosen into the YW a little later I started this blog. Since I was planning, thinking and creating material for my lesson anyway, this blog became the perfect outlet to share what I was already doing. Information technology also gave me the chance to share the dearest part of my centre and life-my testimony of the reality of Jesus Christ. Teaching YW provided topics and resource and became the perfect ground to talk most, share and fine tune for myself the beliefs I had.
Having said that, I hope these lessons, although initially intended to teach teenaged girls in a church grouping, can be read and applied to anyone's life. Mothers, girls, women, boys and men. These are principles of a happy, fulfilling life.
With that said, the things I share are true feelings, beliefs and stories that I share with my YW merely I share them to also hopefully assist anyone else along too.
The lesson was I educational activity on was Why do we accept arduousness? Which was timely for me.
The last couple weeks I've been pretty sick. I had a fever higher than I tin can ever recall having. It was 103-104 degrees for 4 days. I was weak and exhausted. I somehow still had to take care of my 3 ill kids on top of that. I knew lament and getting frustrated at my state of affairs would but brand things worse so I did what I could to redirect my focus to what I COULD do and think (non to say I didn't have my weak moments of utter defeat!). I thought of the YW lesson I was preparing to teach and idea, "Oh perfect. There is no better style to learn nearly why we have arduousness than to go through this." My thinking shifted to "What can I acquire from this? and "How can this feel aid me abound?"
That mental shift inverse everything.

Tribulations brings a softening and humbling of spirit and eye.
When I was so physically weak from illness, I was reminded of how I experience when I fast. The physical weakness and lack of free energy tin can be turned to a precious moments of humility and directly one to a different power beyond concrete strength-spiritual forcefulness.
I have learned every feel, evening if unpleasant at the moment, tin can be used to create more room in ones soul to allow greater strength and experience deeper peace and joy later.
Feeling spiritually asunder and lone
The most difficult moments for me are not the physically weak ones just the moments when I feel lonely, left in the dark and disconnect from the source of peace and joy. The most trying challenge comes when I can hardly feel that spiritual strength and power within myself.
Being sick for that length of time combined with the demands of parenthood left me unbalanced in all sorts of means. Despite my efforts, I wasn't getting plenty rest for what my body needed to recover. I didn't leave for the gym in the mornings because I felt too sick. Which meant I didn't get the do I usually get which helps keep me emotionally, mentally and physically afloat. This threw me for a mental/spiritual/emotional spin off. It left me feeling really down casted, unmotivated, depressed and easily discouraged past everything. Information technology was that familiar nighttime place where information technology feel similar something inside me has died. Life feels dismal and meaningless. Everything I was in one case excited about–my passions, my ideas, my insights– all seem to disappear. Thinking virtually things like that at the time of gloom seemed like foolish nonsense.
Having gone through this several times before (see "dealing with mommy blues") I take learned that this is really part of the exam. It is the almost difficult testing bespeak for me. It is where I must make skilful choices when I feel no motivation for them. It is a slippery time when I feel my very organized religion and sentiment toward God seems dim and waning. It is where the darkness of doubt, fear and insecurities creep in again to confuse everything inside me.
I accept learned that however seemingly casuistic, I must notwithstanding continue to seek the God I tin no longer feel and the light that seems similar is no longer there to guide me. I must make good choices for myself and respect others even when I don't experience like it. Information technology is the only manner to get out the dark.
It is a moment where my Religion becomes a principle of deliberate DECISION and ACTION instead of a genuine sentiment or feeling.

I used to stay in the dumps for a long time before I was able to climb out. I used to panic and condemn myself for what I was experiencing and it would start a brutal cycle that fabricated it difficult to climb out of. Now I know to non freakout. I am getting quicker and better considering of what I have learned. Doom and gloom are lies from the adversary we must learn to not believe. I feel like this fits in so well with Linda S. Reeves temple analogy:

Monson announced that the most destroyed tabernacle was to go a holy temple—a house of the Lord! Suddenly we could see what the Lord had ever known! He didn't cause the fire, just He allowed the fire to strip away the interior. He saw the tabernacle as a magnificent temple—a permanent home for making sacred, eternal covenants.4
My beloved sisters, the Lord allows us to exist tried and tested, sometimes to our maximum chapters. We have seen the lives of loved ones—and maybe our own—figuratively burned to the ground and take wondered why a loving and caring Heavenly Father would allow such things to happen. Just He does not leave the states in the ashes; He stands with open arms, eagerly inviting u.s. to come to Him. He is building our lives into magnificent temples where His Spirit can dwell eternally.

I'one thousand teaching a YW lesson titled, "Who am I and who can I become". I LOVE this lesson. One time nosotros come up to realize our truthful identities as children of God, EVERYTHING changes. Our choices, thoughts, attitudes and behaviors begin to line up to reverberate our near sacred identity. I promise these lesson goodies will aid out with agreement this.
We are the seed of God analogy:
Our souls, our character, or who nosotros actually are can be compared to seeds.
Nosotros are seeds of a Divine Being. Nosotros are divine by inheritance. Divinity already lives within us. We accept everything inside of u.s. to become like our Heavenly Father.

What kinds of things does a seed need to grow?

Fake flower analogy (a side thought that might exist helpful)
I recall nosotros all have 'plastic' flowers, or who we want to appear to be or desire others to call up we are. They are our outer paradigm of ourselves or our egos. The motive our our ego (or natural man) is but to get attention or approval. We are constantly told by the world to buy or do things to become a ameliorate seeming 'fake flower'.
The trouble with information technology is that it is NOT who we really are! And sometimes we can get so caught up with our simulated plastic bloom and other people's fake plastic blossom and how they compare that we forget our true selves! We forget nearly our true seeds inside of united states waiting to exist nourished then it tin can grow and flower in a unique and beautiful way.

Our potential:
Our true selves require existent spiritual sustenance. With this we can abound to be a real source of beauty and nourishment to others. We can bear truthful eternal fruit! Nosotros can become swell and glorious beings just like our Heavenly Father and receive all He has in mind for us.
What it takes
Growing our true seeds takes time, patience, diligence and constant nourishment. In fact, as the seed develops underneath the soil information technology tin can be difficult to see results or the end production. Trust that there is growth and evolution fifty-fifty when your efforts are not immediately noticeable.

I'm preparing a YW lesson for this month's theme of Priesthood and priesthood keys. So I've been mulling over in my encephalon and eye how I feel nearly the priesthood (the power of God given to man on earth, read more well-nigh it here.). I've also been thinking about the nifty blessing it is in my life and for everyone that participates in the ordinances involved.
I know it tin can go a sensitive subject to some since there are those that feel similar they never had the priesthood in their homes. There are others that experience it an injustice since "women don't agree the priesthood." The reality, all the same, is that ALL MEMBERS of THE Church– guys, girls, kids, erstwhile and young– get to receive and participate in priesthood blessings (Read this ).
As Elder Oaks said, "While we sometimes refer to priesthood holders as 'the priesthood,' we must never forget that the priesthood is not owned past or embodied in those who concur it. It is held in a sacred trust to be used for the benefit of men, women, and children alike."
Hither is an illustration depicting our individual function, responsibility and blessings within the priesthood.
What is more important in helping a car run and move forward? The steering bicycle or the wheels?
I like to think of the priesthood (the power of God given to human on globe) as a complete machine and the members as different vital components that help the whole auto function. All members can ride, benefit, receive and contribute to the priesthood, only each person has different responsibilities to build and operate information technology smoothly. Nosotros all are vital components needed to arrive run; the whole couldn't operate without the private parts.
Just because one person is called to be the 'steering cycle' doesn't make him better or worse or more important than those who serve as the 'wheels'. A steering wheel is useless to the whole function of the motorcar without the remainder of the parts. Comparing and arguing who has what part or what responsibility and feeling resentful of the difference instead of focusing on the functioning of the whole results in an unsatisfying, dysfunctional and divided effort. Focusing on doing our role, keeping our finish of the covenant, trusting and allowing the car and work of the Lord to move forward brings satisfaction, blessings and progress to the whole and individuals involved.
That is what helps brings the power of God (or priesthood) into our personal lives. Sister Sherry Dew said, "The power of the priesthood heals, protects, and inoculates all of the righteous against the powers of darkness." Think of the 'priesthood car' as a vehicle on the way to eternal life protected confronting the thick and luring powers of Satan all effectually.
That is awesome power to accept, if you ask me. AND we can ALL have that personal power of the priesthood in our lives every bit we make and stay true to our sacred covenants! Yay!
Sis Dew continues, "Nearly significantly, the fullness of the priesthood contained in the highest ordinances of the firm of the Lord can be received only past a man and woman together." Information technology is a power that is then increased as men and women come together and consummate each other in the priesthood. I role cannot fully office without the other. In that location is humility required in understanding that we depend on one some other and to achieve unity.

This includes callings in our local wards and family unit units. We must trust that our part is moving the Lord'south work forwards, any that may be. It opens upwardly our eyes to how precious we are in producing a lot of proficient in this church, in our own personal lives, and in this world to glorify God.
I trust that Heavenly Father is the main 'motorcar engineer.' He is not only the engineer only the Commuter Himself. Man is not the one 'driving the priesthood,' He is only operating through God.
Heavenly Father knows our divine capacities and where we will serve all-time. He too understands we need to learn to rely on each other and Him. I'k so happy He lends to all His children His ability of the priesthood to direct and protect united states of america in this life and so we can return dorsum to Him. Its a beautiful matter.

Beginning, We Gotta Enquire QUESTIONS!!

Information technology is a witting attempt on our part, but receiving nuggets of wisdom and understanding from our Father in Heaven can exist a constant and infinitely rewarding prize.
Removing Spiritual Blocks

My personal feel with receiving inspiration and guidance
I remember and ponder about a subject and that I'm curious nearly/ have questions near or need direction with. When I am connected to the spirit, I experience like my thoughts are heighten, my listen is expanded to empathise things in a broader eternal perspective. But it is non with my continual and conscience desire to know, ponder and understand truth.
Heavenly father rarely merely dumps revelation out of nowhere (though at times it may seem sudden). He wants to directly united states of america to the reply thought by idea, feeling past feeling, process by procedure, line upon line as information technology says. It is like a treasure hunt where we continually gather show, clues along the way as make decisions and press forward. We learn flake by flake as we are willing and ready to receive it. I was searching my brain on how I could represent what happens to us spiritually when we sin and how repentance is such a cute souvenir that is given to u.s. to cleanse and help the states come up to know greater levels of happiness and come up to know our Father in Sky. I'yard excited to share this object lesson that came to my mind equally I was pondering ways to illustrate this concept. Bask! This goes with this YW lesson, here are my additional thoughts, insight and handout that goes with the lesson.

We refuse to listen to what is best for united states for all those reasons.
Merely in our rebellion we have blocked that communication from our Father in Sky and our true happiness.
The hardening of our hearts invites sin. Those hard parts take block us from spiritual understanding. '
Our hearts still long to 'experience' something and then selfishly we start to do things that bring some temportary satisfaction but bring neat sadness to our Heavenly Father and ultimately ourselves.
Trivial things similar gossip nosotros do because he feel like nosotros are at to the lowest degree improve than someone else. (place a bean in the play dough after each statement)
Nosotros treat with others with anger because it helps usa feel dominion over someone else
We concord grudges because we experience some kind of symbolic victory.
Nosotros may even turn to putting harmful things into our bodies because we feel momentary relief or satisfaction.
Or may even comprise our moral standard considering we want to experience something with someone.
Only all those things have just created a greater barrier against our true happiness and receiptiveness to the light and honey of our Heavenly Father
"Wickedness was never happiness"
I heard someone once add, "But people often don't do wicked things for wickedness sake only because they misfile it for happiness.
All those 'sins' are but cheap substitutes for happiness.
The awesome new is that we can be cleansed of all these yucky sins, these behaviors and attitudes that weigh us downward and block us from feeling real happiness.
God wants so badly for us to feel His dearest but it cannot penetrate our souls if we have but barrier around our hearts.
The scriptures speak of His artillery being open, 2 extended, 3 stretched out, 4and encircling. 5 They are described as mighty half dozen and holy, vii artillery of mercy, 8arms of condom, 9 artillery of dear, 10 "lengthened out all the day long." 11
He wants us to apologize, turn effectually, come back, alter, be clean and so he can communicate his love, guide us, strengthen us and empower us.
One time nosotros are humble enough to realize we accept offend God and made choices that have blocked his spirit and we have proceeds a desire to return, Christ can come up in. If we do our part to repair the harm we've caused, He tin simultaneously come in a repair and heal our hearts from sins with the ability of His Amende.
